GloVibes - DJ / Producer / Remixer has earned almost 25 years experience in the music business and is now based in Los Angeles after spending several years in London spinning at prestigious clubs & securing residencies at Ministry of Sound, The Egg, Fabric, Heaven and many more. Since the early 2000’s, Leonardo GloVibes has been recognized as one of the top ranked DJs in London according the The Scene Awards. His style and sound is perfectly matched with his name – he brings a variety of global influences of house and techno to the dance floor to create the perfect vibe between himself and the crowd. GloVibes holds down several residencies at some of LA’s best clubs including the internationally acclaimed A Club Called Rhonda while continuing to tour across Europe. The track has been featured on the hit show Shameless and was also used as the backdrop for Kendall Jenner’s holiday commercial for Penshoppe. GloVibes standout productions “Babe Babe Babe”, “Cod Liver Oil”, “Move On”, “Cha”, “Freaking Out”, and “Electrica Salsa” have had massive success on the Beatport & Traxsource charts. GloVibes recently teamed up with Nico De Ceglia [Pete Tong’s A/R and Executive Producer of his Radio Show] & Severino Panzetta [Horse Meat Disco] to introduce the highly anticipated underground dance label Bonanza Records. Bonanza is Leonardo’s outlet to share his extraordinary A/R skills as well as feature the underground sound of his alter ego, HandZoff. The label features releases by Mongochips, Alkalino, Emanuele Esposito, Apollo 84, and Buzz Compass. Bonanza issued its first 12 inch vinyl release in January of 2016 and will continue to release both vinyl & digital. He also just launched his new radio show GloVibes Podcast where he presents his latest productions and remixes while dropping some of the best house music tracks on the planet.
The beginning. Leonardo started his DJ career at the age of 14. By the age of 16 he was already playing at some of the most important clubs and radio stations in Italy. He was regularly being featured on Kiss Kiss FM, Italy’s third largest dance station. In 2003, he produced his first record on vinyl, “Strobe”. Then in 2006, he was asked to remix the legendary Robert Owens. His critically acclaimed remix of “Come Together” gained international notoriety and was played worldwide. GloVibes was traveling back and forth from Italy to London and finally decided to make the move to the UK in the early 2000s.
In the mid 2000’s, Leonardo partnered with Go Deeva Records. He premiered his megahit “Cod Liver Oil” in 2007 at Winter Music Conference in Miami. That summer, it was announced that “Cod Liver Oil” was the highest sold vinyl in the UK. In 2009, GloVibes released projects by legendary artists India, Tony Moran, Anastacia, to name a few. Leonardo’s 7 year stint at Go Deeva helped propel the label to being one of the hottest imprints coming out of the UK while he simultaneously DJ’d at his monthly party at Ministry of Sound and regularly appeared on MOS Radio Show as a guest. In 2011, Leonardo moved to Los Angeles, and in the summer of 2013, he found himself having 2 top tens at the same time with “Move On” and “Cha”. In 2014, he parted ways with Go Deeva to focus on new ventures.
Throughout the years, Leonardo’s taste and knowledge for music has caught the attention of many celebrities & A-list clientele. He’s continuously asked to DJ his signature sets for private events, fashion shows & movie premieres for clients like Madonna, Elton John, Jennifer Lopez, Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, Missoni, David Beckham, Kim Kardashian, Queen Latifah, and Zoe Saldana.
Cannes Film Festival and The BAFTA's (British Oscars) has invited Leonardo to grace the decks at their official after parties 4 years in a row and most recently he adds Britney Spears exclusive cover shoot for InStyle Magazine to his resume.
